Wooden Christmas Countdown Calendar

A small daily ritual for the festive season

Count the days toward Christmas with a quiet winter-house display. A wooden house silhouette, a green tree accent and a pair of numbered blocks sit together on a low base. The uncluttered arrangement makes the countdown easy to place among your seasonal decorations without overwhelming the surrounding space.

Details to enjoy

• A pitched roof and small window give the house its recognizable outline.
• The green tree adds a restrained seasonal color accent.
• Movable number blocks provide the changing focus of the display.
• A rectangular base gathers the pieces into one tabletop arrangement.

Set up your countdown

Place the base on a stable indoor surface where the numbers can be seen easily. Arrange the blocks on the base and turn them as you update the countdown. A console, shelf or mantel can provide a simple setting, with enough clear space to handle the pieces without disturbing nearby decorations.

Included

Care and handling

Wipe with a dry cloth and store indoors. Keep the blocks with the base when putting the display away. This is a decorative item; the small removable pieces are not toys.
